We are delighted to be working again with the Oxford-based Salunda Ltd. This specialist technology company develops new applications and products for energy markets, serving key customers such as oilfield operators, service companies and equipment manufacturers.

We were first introduced to the company a few years ago when we were engaged to help promote new fluid measurement technology for the oil and gas industry. Through a specialist media relations programme in the global oil and gas sector, we were able to generate widespread news and feature coverage for the new product, leading to broad market awareness and international commercial success.

On the basis of our initial work, it was a huge compliment to reconnect with the company and be asked to help launch its latest technology – a range of specialist safety systems for harsh and hazardous industrial environments based on a patented wireless sensor network.

The main focus for this work will again be the international oil and gas sector, but there are related opportunities in more general health & safety and industrial maintenance applications. So, our content development activities will be expanded across a wide range of specialist titles, news channels and international media platforms.

In the first tranche of our latest work – in the early summer of 2021 – we have already generated significant coverage in key oilfield drilling, engineering and contracting titles. We are now working on follow-up activities to take the Salunda new technology message into other fields.

Salunda is backed by some of the foremost UK technology investors, including IP Group plc and Oxford University Innovation. To have been re-appointed by the company on the back of a successful first campaign is a huge vote of confidence in our specialist media relations and technical copywriting capabilities.
